Astralis were crowned the tenth CS:GO Major champions in Atlanta after they beat Virtus.pro 2-1 in the grand final, taking home $500,000 and retaining their #1 spot in the rankings. Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye earned the HLTV MVP by ZOWIE award thanks to his 1.16 rating (2.0) throughout the event. His performance was consistent and the 18-year-old stepped up in the grand final, posting a 73:54 score and a 1.22 rating. Despite winning the MVP, the youngster didn't have many highlights as his contribution was spread out throughout different rounds.  Kjaerbye was the MVP in Atlanta
